We have listed here a number of different types of sites that we think you will enjoy. Some will help you plan your Black Hills vacation and stay on top of local news and weather. Others will guide you to unique attractions in the Black Hills. And, for those of you who are hard core cave enthusiasts, we offer a couple links to national caving associations. Enjoy!

KOTA TV is the premier western South Dakota television station and your source for local, national, and international news as well as up-to-the-minute weather reporting and long-term forecasting.
Black Hills, Badlands & Lakes is the regional tourism association offering a great website with information about local lodging, dining and attractions.
South Dakota Department of Tourism is the state agency that oversees and promotes tourism in South Dakota. Their site will be a valuable tool when planning your vacation.
Rapid City Convention and Visitors Bureau is a great source for information about Rapid City and the Black Hills. It covers everything from visitor travel packages to economic development and everything in between.
The National Speleological Society and the National Cave Association are two organizations that promote cave exploration, conservation and education. If you are interested in really learning about the wonder of caves, these are great places to start.
Black Hills Institute of Geological Research makes its home in Hill City, South Dakota. BHIGR has an amazing collection of dinosaurs and prehistoric fossils that will amaze you... many found right here in the Black Hills area.
The Mammoth Site is an attraction like no other in the Black Hills. It is not only a museum of history, but an ACTIVE archeological site with more being discovered daily. There's even an opportunity for you to "dig in and get your hands dirty" if you so desire!
The Journey Museum is a great place to begin your Black Hills vacation. You will learn the history of the area and the native people as well as the history of the early settlers. This new, modern design museum is full of interactive, "hands on" displays.
